Effective 12 September 2026 · Applies to humaineeti.ai and the forms on it
Who we are
humaineeti builds agentic software products for enterprises, with offices in Mumbai · Kolkata. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “humaineeti” mean humaineeti; “you” means the person whose personal data we hold.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, and you are the Data Principal. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we act as the controller of that data.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need to answer you. This website has no advertising cookies of its own, no tracking pixels that identify you personally, and no account system.

| What | Detail | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact details you submit | Name, company, work email and phone number, plus anything you type into the message field. | To reply to your request for a free demo and proof of concept. | Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. |
| Request context | Which product page you were on and which button you pressed. | So the specialist who replies knows what you were looking at and does not waste your time. | Your consent, given with the form. |
| Campaign parameters | UTM values and advertising click identifiers (for example gclid, li_fat_id) present in the link you arrived on. | To understand which campaigns produce genuine enquiries, so we spend marketing budget sensibly. | Our legitimate interest in measuring our own marketing, exercised only on data you submit with a form. |
| Consent record | The fact that you ticked the consent box, the exact wording you agreed to, and the time. | To evidence that we had your permission to contact you, as the DPDP Act requires. | Legal obligation. |
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive personal data, financial account details, government identifiers, or anyone else's personal data through these forms.
Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Analytics and cookies
We measure aggregate website behaviour — page views, which buttons get pressed, how many forms are completed — to improve the site. Where analytics tags are active they may set cookies in your browser and process your IP address and device information.
Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. The campaign parameters described above are held in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, and reach us only if you submit a form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not stop you using this site or submitting a form.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with:
- Our own team — the specialist who replies to you and the people who need to scope your demo or PoC.
- Service providers acting on our instructions — our website host, our transactional email provider, and our customer-relationship tooling. They act as Data Processors, may only use the data to provide that service, and are bound by contract.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose it.
Some of these providers operate outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India or outside the EEA/UK, we rely on the transfer mechanisms permitted by the applicable law, and on contractual protections with the provider.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for 24 months from our last meaningful contact with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised — unless you are a customer, in which case retention follows the contract and our statutory record-keeping obligations. Consent records are kept for as long as we hold the underlying data, plus the period in which a claim could be brought.
How we protect it
Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it. Data in transit is encrypted over TLS. Our infrastructure providers hold recognised security certifications, and our internal access is role-based and logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the DPDP Act.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, as a Data Principal you have the right to:
- Access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Correction and completion — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated.
- Erasure — to have your data deleted where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for, and no law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
- Grievance redressal — to raise a complaint with us, and to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
- Nominate — to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
If the GDPR applies to you, you additionally have the rights to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email hello@humaineeti.ai with the word “Privacy” in the subject line. We respond within 30 days and will not charge you for it.

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top always tells you which version you are reading. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
