A spreadsheet or an expert panel. Neither leaves a trail.
Approach A
Spreadsheet scoring
Each evaluator fills a grid by hand. Weightings drift, scores aren't comparable, and “why did this vendor win” has no paper trail.
Approach B
Consulting / TPE panel
An expert panel scores in a room. Costly, slow, and a point-in-time opinion you can't re-run when scope or the vendor set changes.

Score one closed tender on evidence — compare it to what you decided.
One past tender · your rubric · no cost
How it runs
- You pick a closed tender and share the RFP plus the bids received
- We build your weighted rubric and run the full evaluation
- You compare the cited scorecard against the decision you actually made
What you provide
- One RFP document and the bid responses received
- Your evaluation criteria and weightings
- 60 minutes with an evaluator to calibrate the rubric
What you get back
- A normalized scorecard with a citation behind every score
- Outlier and bias flags across evaluation axes
- An audit pack you can put in front of a governance committee
The demo and the PoC come together, at no cost. You keep the findings whether or not you go ahead — no licence, no commitment, no procurement paperwork to start.
Before you ask us
Where it runs, what it touches, what it costs.
- Where does it run?
- In your environment or ours, as your procurement governance requires. Bid documents can stay inside your boundary for the whole evaluation.
- What can it change without us?
- Nothing. It produces a cited, normalized scorecard. The committee scores, decides and signs — the engine never awards anything.
- Is our data used to train models?
- No. Tenders and bids are commercially sensitive. They are used for your evaluation only.
- What does it cost after the first tender?
- Scoring one closed tender is free. Production is priced per tender or per annual programme — scoped on the call.
Does AI decide who wins the tender?
No. RFP Score produces a cited, normalized scorecard; the committee decides. Its job is to make sure the scoring is consistent, evidence-based and defensible.
How is a score justified to an auditor?
Every criterion is linked to the specific line in the proposal it was scored from, and the full evaluation is logged. “Why did this vendor win” has an answer with a page reference.
What happens when scope or the vendor set changes?
You re-run it. Weights, criteria and vendors can change and the whole evaluation regenerates — something a spreadsheet round or an expert panel cannot do without starting over.
Can it handle multi-package tenders?
Yes — technical, commercial and compliance axes sit on one weighted rubric, which is exactly where large multi-package tenders usually lose comparability.
